Culture and Art in the Cross-Border Area (Summer School organized by the University of Craiova, Craiova, Romania)
Description
This summer school will be a joint intensive course (5 days of educational activities, 40 hours, with participation diplomas within this project) organized in Craiova by experts in culture and art, with the participation of students from the University of Craiova and the D.A. Tsenov Academy of Economics in Svishtov. The summer school will be held in person and will have a significant practical component. The teaching process will be conducted in English.
The topics covered will address the fundamental elements of conservation and restoration, including art history, spirituality, and the cultural heritage developed around various places of worship. Students will become familiar with essential concepts and practical approaches used in the restoration of religious objects.
